Each week Cyproom introduces you to a few people who fit, without the whole area seeing you.

Up to 3 a week, always at 6 pm
In summer you work late; in winter the place goes quiet. Each introduction arrives at 6 pm, on whichever day we find someone who fits you, and you have 72 hours to answer, whenever you find a moment.

About 8 minutes for your profile, 2–5 photos that are never published, and an ID check with your ID card or passport. The selfie is optional.

Up to 3 introductions a week, each with 2–3 real things in common. You see how far away they live in minutes, never exactly where. You answer privately within 72 hours.

One of you opens the chat for both for €7, and the first time is free. You then have 7 days to meet.

We operate in the areas under the control of the Republic of Cyprus. In your profile you find your community in a list of every community in the district, and we measure distance from there, without an address.

Liopetri, Frenaros, Avgorou, Dasaki Achnas.

How far
How long would you drive for a first date?
From here the other towns are a fair drive away, so the limit you choose matters a lot. We count driving time between areas, not straight-line kilometres.
- 15 min — Paralimni, Ayia Napa, Protaras, Deryneia, Sotira, Frenaros and Liopetri.
- 30 min — plus Avgorou, Acheritou and the eastern villages of Larnaca District, such as Xylofagou and Ormideia.
- 45 min — plus Dasaki Achnas, Pyla, Oroklini and Livadia. Larnaca centre is a little further.
- 1 hour — plus Larnaca town and its villages, as far as Dali at the edge of Nicosia District.
- Anywhere — Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos too: every area we serve.
The shorter of the two limits counts: if you accept 1 hour and someone in Nicosia only 30 minutes, we won’t introduce you.
Discretion
Here, everybody knows everybody
Where everyone knows your mother, a dating profile is news for the whole coffee shop. On Cyproom there is nothing for them to see.

No public profiles, no lists, no “near you”. Only the people we introduce you to that week can see you.

Hide from people you know
Add the mobiles or e-mails of cousins, exes or colleagues. We never introduce you, and they never learn you added them.

Not from your own village
If you like, we won’t introduce you to people from your own area or within 10 minutes of it.

You can always see who has seen your card, and every photo carries the name of the person viewing it.

Where to meet the first time
Sea, trails and village squares, and summer and winter could not be more different. Out of season many places close, so pick somewhere open and busy.

The bay with its fig tree and the promenade around it. Quiet in winter, lively in summer.

Trails above the sea, the Kamara tou Koraka arch and the sea caves. One for daylight, well away from the cliff edges.

The Venetian monastery in the centre, with the square around it. A coffee there is the simplest way to meet.

Thalassa Museum
Ayia Napa’s municipal museum of the sea around Cyprus, with a replica of an ancient ship. Small and interesting.

Ayia Napa Sculpture Park
Open-air sculptures beside the sea. Plenty of space to walk and talk.

Liopetri river
The little fishing shelter with its boats and a peaceful view. For a lunch with no rush.

The main square and the streets around it, busy all year round, not just in summer.

The little chapel right by the sea, west of Ayia Napa. Quiet and lovely in the late afternoon; go in separate cars.

Safety
For a first date that goes well
The ID check tells you the other person is real and an adult, not whether they are kind. With summer and winter so different here, keep these in mind:

- In summer Ayia Napa is full of people and drink. For a first date choose somewhere calm, and keep an eye on your glass.
- At Cape Greco stay on the trails and away from the edge. Cliff jumping is not for a first date.
- In winter much of the coast empties out: meet somewhere with people around, like central Paralimni.
- Make your own way there and tell someone close to you where you will be.
- If someone asks for money or suggests an “investment”, stop there and report them with one tap.

Questions
What people around Paralimni and Ayia Napa ask us
Why only the free part of Famagusta District?
Because we only operate in the areas under the control of the Republic of Cyprus: Paralimni, Ayia Napa, Protaras, Deryneia, Sotira and the Kokkinochoria. You choose your area from these in your profile.
Paralimni is small. How do I stop my cousin seeing me?
There is no search, so he can’t find you. Add his mobile or e-mail to “Hide from people you know” and we never introduce you, even if he joins later. You can also ask us not to introduce you to anyone from your own area.
Will you introduce me to people here on holiday?
Cyproom is for people who live in Cyprus. Everyone passes an ID check and says where they live, and introductions come once a week: it does not suit anyone staying a few days.
Will I only meet people from my own area?
That depends on your limit. With “15 min” you stay local; with “1 hour” Larnaca comes in; for Nicosia and Limassol choose “Anywhere”. If you want more options, widen the limit whenever you like.
