How far
How long would you drive for a first date?
Because Larnaca lies between the other towns, the limit you choose changes a lot. We count driving time between the two areas, not straight-line kilometres.
- 15 min — the town and the villages right next to it: Aradippou, Livadia, Dromolaxia and Meneou.
- 30 min — much of the district: Oroklini, Kiti, Pyla, Xylotymvou, Athienou, Ormideia.
- 45 min — plus Xylofagou, Mazotos, Lefkara, Ayia Napa, and Nicosia with its southern suburbs.
- 1 hour — plus Paralimni, Protaras, all of Nicosia and eastern Limassol, such as Germasogeia. Limassol centre is a little further.
- Anywhere — the rest of Limassol and Paphos too: every area we serve.
The shorter of the two limits counts. If you accept 1 hour but the other person wants 30 minutes at most, we won’t introduce you if you live further apart.

In a village, everyone knows everyone
In a village, a dating profile is the talk of the square by evening. That is why on Cyproom there is nothing for a passer-by to see.

Where to meet in Larnaca the first time
Larnaca has the sea, an old town and a salt lake right next to the town. Choose somewhere public and calm, where you can talk.

Finikoudes
The palm-lined seafront promenade is busy all year round, with benches and cafés. The easiest place in town to meet.

Saint Lazarus and the lanes around it
The church square and the narrow streets with small cafés, just behind Finikoudes.

The medieval fort and Skala
At the end of Finikoudes, and further on Skala with its pottery workshops. A walk that gives you plenty to talk about.

The Salt Lake trail and the Tekke
The path along the salt lake to Hala Sultan Tekke. In winter the flamingos arrive. One for daylight.

Coffee by the sea
Mackenzie
The beach south of the town, with cafés on the sand. A good choice for a Saturday morning or afternoon.

The archaeological site inside the town, small and quiet, for anyone who enjoys history.

The old aqueduct on the western edge of town, with its stone arches. A short walk and good photos.

The Pentecost festival on Finikoudes, with concerts and crowds by the sea. A relaxed setting for a first date.

Safety
For a first date that goes well
The ID check tells you the other person is real and an adult. It does not tell you whether they are kind. These help:

- Meet where there are people, like Finikoudes. The Salt Lake trail and empty beaches are for daytime, and for later, once you know each other.
- Get there and back on your own, and tell someone close to you where you will be.
- Don’t get into the other person’s car on a first date, not even for “a quick drive”.
- Never send money, passwords or photos of documents. If they ask for anything like that, report them with one tap.
- If you don’t feel comfortable, leave. No explanation needed.

What people in Larnaca ask us
I live in a village in Larnaca District. Will I get introductions?
Distance is measured in minutes from your community. From Athienou or Xylofagou the town is about half an hour away, so with “45 min” you cover much of the district. How many introductions you get depends on who joins, which is why we only open once the list is big enough.
I live in Larnaca but work in Nicosia. Which area should I choose?
The one where you live: you usually plan dates from home. Nicosia is about 45 minutes away: with “45 min” its centre is included, and with “1 hour” the whole city.
Can I avoid people from my own village?
Yes. Choose not to be introduced to people from your own area or within 10 minutes of it, and add anyone you know to “Hide from people you know”. Both work in both directions.
I’m moving to Larnaca. Can I sign up now?
Yes. Choose “Larnaca” in the form if you know you will live here, or “Outside Cyprus (moving here)”. When your invitation arrives, you set your area in your profile.
