Tell us about you
A short questionnaire (~6 minutes), 2–5 photos that are never published anywhere, and an ID check with a document and a selfie.

Every Thursday at 18:00
You receive up to 3 introductions that fit what you asked for, each with 2–3 real things you share. You answer by Sunday.

Privately. Nobody is ever told you said “no”. If you both say “yes”, you find out together.

Talk for 7 days, then meet
One of you opens the conversation for both. Phone numbers and handles stay hidden until you agree a date.
Who can see me?
Only the people we picked for you. Nobody else.
In Cyprus everyone knows everyone. That’s why Cyproom has no profile your colleague, your cousin or your ex could ever find.

There is no profile page, no search bar and no “people near you”.

Add phone numbers or e-mails of colleagues, exes or relatives. If they sign up with that number or e-mail, we will never introduce you — and they will never know.

Every photo carries the name of whoever is viewing it. Full resolution only after a mutual “yes”.

The more profiles people see, the easier it becomes to say “no” — research on choice overload in online dating points the same way. So we send a few introductions, once a week, at the time weekends get planned. The rest of the week is for living, not scrolling.

Numbers stay hidden
Phone numbers, links and handles are masked automatically in the chat until you agree a date. That makes life much harder for scammers.

Silently. The other person never learns who reported. Accounts that cause trouble are paused automatically.

After every date we ask you privately. Your answer has real consequences — and the other person never sees it.
What an ID check cannot promise: that someone is a good person. It confirms a real adult, a genuine document and photos that are really theirs. So always meet in a public place, especially the first time.

We won’t open with too few people. We start when there are enough people in every area — and people on the list hear first.

When do you start?
We open when the list has enough people and a healthy balance of men and women — the target is early 2027. People on the list hear first.
Which areas?
All of the Republic of Cyprus. You choose how far away the people you meet can be (10, 25, 50 km or the whole island).
Who sees my photos?
Only the few people we introduce you to each week, and only one low-resolution photo with their own name on it. All your photos, in full resolution, are seen only by someone you have both said “yes” to.
What does the ID check prove — and what doesn’t it?
That you are a real person, 18+, that the document is genuine and that your photos are really you. It cannot vouch for anyone’s character — that’s what reports, the “did you feel safe?” question and safe-date rules are for. A specialist provider runs the check; we do not keep a copy of your document.
Why does only one person pay?
Because two payments mean two chances to hesitate. Whichever of you wants to can open the conversation for both of you. The other person is never told who paid.
What if they never reply?
If they write nothing within 72 hours, you automatically get a free conversation opening back (or your €7, if you ask within 14 days). If their account is closed for safety reasons before you have talked, you get your money back automatically.
Is it only for serious relationships?
It’s for people who genuinely want to meet someone. You say what you’re looking for (something serious / open to seeing where it goes / not sure yet) and we never introduce you to someone looking for something completely different.
Who is it for?
Adults of every gender and orientation — Cypriots and everyone else who lives in Cyprus. The service runs in Greek, English and Russian. Non-binary members are introduced to people who said they want to meet everyone. Women seeking women and men seeking men are matched among themselves, so in the first months there may be fewer introductions for them.
What do you do with my data?
For the waitlist we keep only what we need to open area by area, and your e-mail encrypted. No advertising cookies, no selling of data. See the privacy notice.
