Limassol · Opening soon
Dating in Limassol, without everyone seeing you
Limassol is a busy city with small circles: your client, a colleague from the office, your ex’s best friend. On Cyproom there is no profile for anyone to find. Every Thursday we introduce you to a few people who fit what you are looking for.
- Nobody can search for you or scroll past you
- Everyone is ID-verified
- You choose who must never see you

How it works here
Once a week: Thursday at 6 pm
No scrolling on your lunch break and no notifications all day. Thursday comes just before the weekend, when there is time for a coffee on the Molos or a walk along the Marina.

All we need today is your e-mail and four answers. We open in waves and invite people by e-mail; those who bring friends get in sooner.
-
Profile and ID check
Seven short steps, about 8 minutes, and 2–5 photos that are never published. The ID check uses your ID card or passport; the selfie is up to you.
-
Your Thursday
Up to 3 introductions, each with 2–3 real things in common and how far away they live (“~20 min from you”), never an address. You answer by Sunday, and nobody ever learns about a “no”.
-
A mutual yes
One of you opens the chat for both of you for €7, and your first one is free. You then have 7 days to talk and meet. No subscription.
Areas we cover
All of Limassol District, from the seafront to the mountains
In your profile you pick your community from a list of every community in the district. We use it to work out how far apart you are; we never ask for your address.
The city and suburbs
Limassol (centre), Agios Athanasios, Germasogeia, Mesa Geitonia, Kato and Ano Polemidia, Ypsonas, Mouttagiaka, Agios Tychonas.
The villages
Pyrgos and Parekklisia, Palodia, Kolossi and Erimi, Trachoni, Episkopi, Souni-Zanakia, Pissouri, and the Troodos and Pitsilia villages.
Live in Limassol but work in Nicosia? Choose the area where you live: that is where distances are measured from. If you move, you can change it at any time.
How far
How long would you drive for a first date?
In your profile you choose one of five limits. We count driving time between the two areas, not straight-line kilometres: Germasogeia to Ypsonas is not the same as a mountain road.
- 15 min — the city and the nearby suburbs, from Germasogeia to Polemidia.
- 30 min — plus the villages around it: Pyrgos, Kolossi, Erimi, Episkopi, Palodia.
- 45 min — plus Pissouri, Kouklia in Paphos District and Kofinou on the way to Larnaca.
- 1 hour — plus Paphos, the Troodos and Pitsilia villages, and the villages west of Larnaca, such as Kiti. Larnaca town and Nicosia are a little further.
- Anywhere — Larnaca, Nicosia and free Famagusta too: every area we serve.
The shorter of the two limits counts: if you choose 1 hour and they choose 30 minutes, we only introduce you if you live within 30 minutes of each other.
Discretion
A big city where everyone knows someone
In Limassol you work alongside people who know your family. That is why Cyproom has four protections, and none of them asks you to explain anything to anyone.
-
No searching
There is no profile page, no list and no “people near you”. Your card is seen only by the few people we introduce you to that week.
-
Hide from people you know
Add the mobile numbers or e-mails of colleagues, exes or relatives. We never introduce you, in either direction, and they never find out.
-
Not from your street
If you like, we won’t introduce you to people from your own area or within 10 minutes of it, so your neighbour never turns up.
-
You see who saw you
You can always see who has seen your card, and every photo carries the name of the person viewing it.
First date
Where to meet in Limassol the first time
Public places with people and light, where either of you can leave whenever you like. A coffee or an hour’s walk is plenty.
-
Seaside walk
The Molos and the Old Port
The seafront promenade starts at the Old Port and runs along the water: busy until late, with benches and good lighting.
-
Coffee
Limassol Marina
The Marina promenade is open to everyone: plenty of cafés, tidy, and quiet on a Saturday morning.
-
Old town
Around the Castle and Saripolou
Lively lanes, the square behind the Castle and Agia Napa cathedral. Good for an early-evening drink.
-
Museum
The Carob Mills and the Municipal Art Gallery
The story of the carob next to the Castle, or an exhibition at the seafront gallery: something to talk about from the first minute.
-
Sunset
Kourion
The ancient theatre above the sea, 20 minutes west of the city. Go in separate cars and check the closing time first.
-
Nature
Germasogeia dam
A trail with views over the reservoir, 15 minutes from the city. One for daylight, not for the evening.
-
Flamingos
Akrotiri Salt Lake and Lady’s Mile
In winter the salt lake fills with flamingos. Lovely on a Saturday morning, with binoculars if you have them.
-
Events
Carnival and the Wine Festival
The Carnival before Lent and the Wine Festival in the Municipal Garden at the end of summer: big crowds and a relaxed mood.
We have no deals with any venue and nobody pays to be on this list. Opening hours and tickets change, so check before you go. First date ideas in Cyprus
Safety
For a first date that goes well
The ID check confirms the other person is real and an adult; it cannot tell you whether they are kind. A few simple rules help.
Dating safety and fake profiles · How to spot a scam, and 12 rules for a first date.
- Meet somewhere public and busy, like the Molos or the Marina, never at someone’s home or on an empty beach.
- Get there and back on your own, by car or taxi. Tell a friend where you will be and when you expect to finish.
- Keep your address, your exact workplace and your finances to yourself until you know each other well.
- If someone asks for money, an “investment” or crypto, stop there and report them with one tap. They will not learn who reported them.
- If you drink, leave the car and take a taxi.
If you ever feel in danger
Call 112 anywhere in Cyprus. For violence in a relationship or a family, there is the 1440 helpline: free, 24 hours a day.
Questions
What people in Limassol ask us
I live in Limassol. Will you introduce me to people from Nicosia or Paphos?
Only if you want. Paphos is about 55 minutes from Limassol, Larnaca about an hour and Nicosia a little over an hour. Choose “45 min” and you stay almost entirely within the district; with “1 hour” Paphos comes in; for Larnaca and Nicosia choose “Anywhere”. You can change the limit at any time.
Could a colleague or my ex see me?
Not by searching: on Cyproom nobody can look anyone up. If you add their mobile or e-mail to “Hide from people you know”, we never introduce you, even if they join later, and they never find out. You also always see who has seen your card.
I don’t speak Greek. Is Cyproom for me?
Yes. Cyproom works in Greek, English and Russian, and in your profile you say which languages you would date in. We only introduce you to people you share at least one of those languages with.
I live in a village. Will everyone see where I live?
Not everyone: your card is only seen by the people we introduce you to. It shows your area and how far apart you are, for example “Ypsonas · ~15 min from you”, never an address. If your village has fewer than 1,000 residents, they just see “a village in Limassol District”. You can also ask us not to introduce you to people from your own area.
